eProv Loader
We run a live distance education program at the school where I work. Many of our students aren't very computer savvy so, to help them out, I wrote this loader application to the lower the bar for installing and configuring their systems. The app includes a password manager, it checks for a proper install of the conferencing software and provides custom hotkey services for both students and faculty. It also keeps the user from accidentally mis-configuring the conferencing software by overwriting their configuration with our defaults. Written in AutoHotKey, it's the most polished app I've done so far. Current version is 2.0 (dated Jan 20th, 2012) and features a sexy new setup wizard, streamlined code and a cleaned-up interface.

My wife and I started playing Dungeons & Dragons online about 2 years ago. Since then we've come to love the complexity of the game and keep in touch with some of our closest friends through the game. Some of our best God-talks happen while beating up on Orcs.
Anyway, I wrote this app to provide anyone interested with an easy way to run the game (auto-launch and auto-login), perform in-game emotes and give hotkey access to custom messages. The app also loads the Foobar music player and provides the gamer with hotkey access to play whatever music they load in the folder structure provided. It does the same for gamers who prefer to use Xbox controllers as well.

I once worked as a prospect researcher for a non-profit organization running a multi-million dollar capital campaign. My job was to find out who had money, how much and how best to approach them for funding. The research to gain this information required me to enter in the name of a foundation or business many times over into various search engines and databases. One day, after wasting several hours accidentally searching for the wrong company due to a persistent typo I decided I needed a way to search all my major sources by typing in my query once. Thus, PPS was born and it does **many** other things (as you might expect). Current version is 2.4 and I do update it from time to time to support new sites as they become available and remove incompatible ones as they arise.
